Serie A hails Italian legislation change affecting international TV rights
MILAN (AP) — Serie A is hailing a change to Italian legislation that abolishes a three-year restrict on contracts for international TV rights.
The change must also get rid of lengthy delays in formulating contracts.
“The brand new guidelines will assist improve income, with larger returns that can have a good influence on your entire soccer system,” Serie A president Lorenzo Casini mentioned on Thursday.
Most of Serie A’s international rights are managed by the Swiss-based advertising and marketing agency Infront in a three-year deal that expires after the 2023-24 season.
